Principal’s Corner
Dear ASCE Families,
Tomorrow, our ASCE robotics teams are heading to Freeland MS/HS for competition. We would like to wish both teams the best of luck as they prepare for the competition!
All Saints Middle and High School is having a shoe drive that will conclude on Wednesday, December 7. If you would like to donate any shoes/boots, you are welcome to drop them off here at the elementary school and we will make sure they get to the school on Wednesday.
We enter the second week of Advent this Sunday. Advent is a time of waiting in anticipation, as well as a time of preparation. As we light the second candle on our Advent wreath, may we prepare our hearts to welcome Jesus’ peace into our lives.
Many Blessings,
Mrs. Rhodus
Prayer
O God, enter our hearts so that we may openly encounter Your presence this Advent season. Forgive us our sins, and allow us to rest in You. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Virtue of the Week
During morning prayer on Monday, December 5 we will introduce the virtue: Trustworthiness
Acting in a way that inspires confidence and trust, being reliable such as delivering important messages to someone, not gossiping about someone, telling the truth, turning work in on time, and finishing a job or task well.
Dear Jesus, help me to be faithful in even the little things of each day. In Your eyes nothing is little when done in great love!

Aftercare Hours
This is a friendly reminder that aftercare ends at 6:00pm. Please be sure your child(ren) is picked up by then. Thank you!
Panda Express Fundraiser
Be sure to go get some delicious food from Panda Express on Monday, December 5th! Make sure you show them the attached flyer via paper or phone, so ASCE can get 20% of all sales for that day from 10:30am– 9:00pm.
Pam’s Pantry
Pam’s Pantry fundraiser is ending soon! Be sure to take advantage of this very generous and delicious fundraiser that gives back 50% of sales to our school! Orders are due to the ASCE office Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in order to have them by break. Please turn in the payment of cash or check made out to All Saints, when the orders forms are turned in.
Family Sports Passes
Family passes will be available for purchase in the office for the ASCE basketball and volleyball season. They are $30.00 each and will get you into both the home and away games. Admission prices will be $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students, per league rules for those without a pass.
Cold Weather
Please be sure your child(ren) is prepared everyday with the appropriate clothing for outside temperatures; coats, gloves, hats, boots and snow pants. The students go outside daily for recess and/or gym. They are outside unless it is raining or the “feels like” temperature is below 10 degrees. If you are in need of any of these items please contact the school office.
Snow Boots and Pants
We are in need of new or gently used snow boots and snow pants. If your child has outgrown theirs, please consider donating them to us. It would benefit a number of students who do not have those items for recess. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
VIRTUS Training
There is an upcoming Virtus Training on Monday, December 12, 2022 in the ASC cafeteria. If you are needing recertification or wish to become a volunteer, please join the training. You can register for it online at www.saginaw.org.

Parish Info and Mass Opportunities
With the decline of young families attending church and with so much evil and hate in this world today, we need God now more than ever. It is our responsibility as Catholics to go to church weekly. By doing so, we set good examples for our children and do our part to lead them in the direction of Christ our savior. Attending church as a family is so important and rewarding. It helps to create a special bond between you and God and between your family members. Children need to know and understand the importance of going to church consistently and having a relationship with God. There are many mass options to accommodate busy lifestyles. So please take a little time out of your busy lives each week to grow closer to God and to enjoy mass as a family.
