Principal’s Corner

Dear ASCE Families,

Thank you to all who attended the family dance, it was a wonderful event! A big thank you to our Home and School for sponsoring the event as well as setting up and thank you to all the parents who cleaned up!

We are so proud of Addison Brzezinski, Adelaila Costilla, Charlotte Dzurka, and Charlotte Heintskill for making bracelets and selling them at the family dance. They worked hard to create beautiful bracelets to raise money for the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, they raised $600! Thank you so much Addison, Adelaila, Charlotte, and Charlotte for your dedication to serving others!
Also, we are proud of Logan Majdecki who organized our service project for Catholic Schools Week. On Monday, the Majdecki family and Rhodus family delivered the collected items to the mission. Thank you, Logan, for your dedication to serving others!

We had our student council elections this Wednesday. We are so proud of all the students who campaigned over the last two weeks. Each student who ran for student council created posters and gave a speech over the PA on Tuesday and Wednesday. They did a fantastic job and it was wonderful to see all the campaign posters in the school and to hear all the terrific speeches. Wonderful job to all our students who ran for students council!

Congratulations to our first student council of All Saints Elementary School:
President: Grace Wetters
Vice President: Jake Williams
Secretary: Haley Neeb

4th Grade Representatives: Willow Heintskill, Olivia Mrozinski, Evan Rhodus

Many Blessings,
Mrs. Rhodus

Cold Weather Reminder

Please be sure your child(ren) is prepared everyday with the appropriate clothing for outside temperatures. The students go outside daily for recess and/or gym. They are outside unless it is raining or the “feels like” temperature is below 10 degrees. If you are in need of any of these items please contact the school office.
Students need to wear the proper attire every day, such as:
• COATS
• BOOTS
• SNOWPANTS
• HATS
• GLOVES

Illness Policy Reminder

If a student is ill with a fever (100.4 or higher) or vomiting, he/she must be fever/vomit free for 24 hours without the help of medicine before returning to school. If a student is out for 3 consecutive days, a Dr. note is needed for the student’s return to school.

100th Day of School

We celebrated our 100th day of school this Thursday! Some of the staff wore a special shirt , and Mrs. Heintskill dressed up as a 100 year old sub-stitute teacher. The students were given a card to write down one reason why they love All Saints. Then one name was picked from each grade and the winner received a Barnes and Noble gift card. The winners were Juan Costilla, Addison Brzezinski, Garrett Gregory, Fabian Garcia, and Henry Alvesteffer.

Parish Info and Mass Opportunities

With the decline of young families attending church and with so much evil and hate in this world today, we need God now more than ever. It is our responsibility as Catholics to go to church weekly. By doing so, we set good examples for our children and do our part to lead them in the direction of Christ our Savior. Attending church as a family is so important and rewarding. It helps to create a special bond between you and God and between your family members. Children need to know and understand the importance of going to church consistently and having a relationship with God. There are many Mass options to accommodate busy lifestyles. So please take a little time out of your busy lives each week to grow closer to God and to enjoy Mass as a family.
