All Saints Catholic nurtures academic and personal excellence in all students while emphasizing Catholic values and service to others in Christ’s name.

Volume 4, Issue 3

Letter from the Principal

Fall has arrived! The cold weather is around the corner, so please remember that it’s important all students dress appropriately for the weather and follow dress code. I have attached a separate page to update families on the dress code.

Thank you to Miss. Dewar, students, staff, Class of 1972, and All Saints families for a great week of Homecoming activities. Homecoming is always a special time at All Saints, and this year was no exception. We have such a rich tradition of academics, athletics, extra-curricular activities, and most importantly, faith. Special congratulations to the Class of 2026 for winning the spirit jug.

Please check the school calendar over the next few weeks. We have several changes with instructional days coming up. Parent teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, October 27 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It is important that we all work together to help our students achieve in the classroom. Sixth grade parents and new families, our conferences are an open-house style. No appointment is necessary. Please stop in and meet with your student’s teachers.

Join me in welcoming Sister Maria Jose to All Saints. Sister Maria Jose was introduced to our students and staff on Tuesday, October 18. She brings her talent, enthusiasm, and love of Christ to us. We are so excited for her to begin her journey with us.

We have a motto for the 2022-2023 school year: Be Kind, Be Great! Take a minute and chat with your children about school climate. We want all of our students to feel safe at All Saints and to take pride in their school. I challenge our students to look for ways to show kindness in all they do and to be ambassadors of kindness in our community. Our staff is always working to provide creative opportunities for your students to get involved and show their Cougar spirit. Be on the lookout for exciting events as we move into 2nd marking period.

Mr. Keith Wetters

News from Miss Zoe…

Dear ASC families,

Have you checked out the new All Saints Catholic website yet? The web address/URL is the same (ascbaycity.org) but we have a new look. The calendar, which is linked in the top navigation bar, is a great place to check for dates of half days or no school, sports games, and events for both the Middle/High and Elementary Schools. It even has a search function so you can filter for specific types of events. In Resources, you will find printable calendars for the school year, lunches, monthly events, athletics schedules, SCRIP forms, and more. We are still in the process of adding information and functions to the site. For example, we will soon have live updates on the homepage for important announcements such as game cancellations. We hope the new site and updates we will add over time will be helpful to you!

God bless,

Zoe Robinson

Sports News and Notes…

As our fall sports seasons conclude and we transition into our winter season, I’d like to thank all of our fall coaches for the time and effort that they have invested into our student athletes. Thank you for being positive role models and mentors to our students. Thank you for loving them and caring about them. I want our parents and community to know just how lucky we are to have them be a part of students’ lives. We appreciate you.

God bless Cougar Nation,

Greg Wagner, Athletic Director

Cougar Corp News…

Friday, October 14th was a great day for Mr. Bethune’s Cougar Corp music program. Our 7th and 8th grade musicians celebrated All Saints Catholic pride by performing at the school pep-rally, marching in the homecoming parade, and performing the National Anthem at the varsity football game. So much to take pride in.

One area where the band program is in need for practice snare drum pads. If you happen to have any used practice snare drum pads that you would be willing to donate we are looking for 15 of them.

A secondary goal of the music program is to have marching uniforms for the students. A few of our artistically minded Cougars created a beautiful band logo
and we would like to see that used for future school/community events we perform at. Keep your eyes open for future details and know that we would be very
grateful for any donations to help these students represent cool musical style.

Musically in Christ!

Mr. Todd Bethune

Notes from Dinah…

Dinah
